Photoshop A Required Application Library Failed To Load

I am unable to use Parallels 3.0 build 5160 for either Adobe Photoshop CS or CS2. It simply says 'A required application library failed to load and the product. Q1 are you running Adobe creative cloud in the background BEFORE trying to open Photoshop? Q2 is there a lot of stuff saved to your creative cloud libraries and is the Adobe creative cloud app showing that things are still trying to sync? I have Photoshop CS2 CD that I was using with windows XP. I loaded this into my new Windows 10 computer and everything seems to work except anytime I pressed the alt key I get this message. ' A required application library failed to load in the product cannot continue.

  • This looks like an issue with the Adobe Photoshop cs2 application on the computer. I would suggest you to post the query on Adobe Photoshop community forum for further assistance on this issue. You can refer to the link to post the query.
  • Check Help - System Info to see what plugins Photoshop is seeing and loading. There's a chance you aren't running the copy of Photoshop that you think you are, and that second copy doesn't have the plugins. OK, then you need to check for anti-virus or other utilities that might be interfering with plugin loading.
